​Star Greene

I'm Star, a Non-binary artist born in South Jersey and currently residing in the city of Richmond in Virginia. I'm a person of many creative ventures from sculpting to watercolor painting to jewelry making to sewing, among other skills I've exercised during my youth. My Portfolio consists of creations out of my comfort zone and others in the realm of my usual creations. 

The first section of my Portfolio was the final project in my AP Art Portfolio class in High School. The thesis statement was an idea that I was passionate about. The materials I was working with weren't my conventional mediums I'm usually drawn towards since I wanted to challenge myself. After choosing materials and techniques I wasn't comfortable with that's when I landed one of my favorite displays of artwork, mixed aesthetics. Specifically, to make typically scary ideas palatable while making cute ideas repulsive.
